Bashkir scientists from BSMU publish an Atlas of Oncology in English

The book Atlas of Lymphatic System in Cancer was published by Springer Nature global publishing house (authors: Shamil Gantsev, academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan; Professor Kamil Gantsev; associate Professor Shamil Kzyrgalin).

The Atlas includes key results of research on Oncology, which were reported in Germany, Finland, Ireland, Denmark, Japan, Latvia and other countries. In addition, personal discussions were held with scientists from the United States of America, Brazil, the United Arab Emirates, China, Turkey, Sweden and other countries.

The final examination of the materials presented in the Atlas, was led by Professor Christopher Poremba, Director of the Institute of Pathology (Munich, Germany); Professor Vil Timerbulatov, corresponding member of RAS, President of the Association of Surgeons of the Republic of Bashkortostan (Ufa, Russia); Professor Gerhard Schaller, Director of the Institute for Breast Health (Munich, Germany); Professor Kazuo Umezawa, head of the Department of Molecular Target Medicine of Aichi Medical University (Aichi, Japan).

- For me personally, as a scientist, this is an important assessment of the activities of our Russian scientific school, and a global recognition. I think that the results of our research can change the way we think about cancer development, treatment, and prevention, - said Professor Shamil Gantsev, academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan, head of the Department of Oncology at BSMU.

The announcement of the book has already been presented at Springer Nature, Amazon, and Google Books.
