BSMU hosts the International Online Video Conference on Pharmaceutical education

On April 14, 2020, the International Online Video Conference on the Organization of the educational process in the conditions of preventing the new COVID-19 coronavirus infection spread was held in BSMU campus №1.

Professor Natalia Kudashkina, dean of the faculty of Pharmacy at BSMU, Doctor of Pharmacy, welcomed the conference participants. She noted the importance of holding the Conference for further improving usage of remote learning technologies in the educational process.

Leading teachers of Pharmacy departments from South Kazakhstan Medical Academy (Kazakhstan, Shymkent); S. D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University (Kazakhstan, Almaty), Medical University of Astana (Republic of Kazakhstan, the city of Nur-Sultan), Medical University of Karaganda (Kazakhstan, Karaganda), Medical University of Semey (Kazakhstan, Semey), M. Ospanov West Kazakhstan State Medical University (Republic of Kazakhstan, Aktobe), and representatives of educational organizations from Moscow and Pyatigorsk took part in the Conference and made reports. Bashkir State Medical University was presented by R. V. Abdrakhimov, head of the Department for international activities, Prof. K. A. Pupykina, Prof. G. Ya. Ibragimova, Prof. S. R. Khasanova and associate Professor F. Kh. Kildiyarov. Seventy-two specialists took part in the Conference.

At the Conference, the possibilities of organizing practical training of students using remote educational technologies were considered in a friendly atmosphere. The participants also discussed topical issues of using various information platforms for distance learning. At the end of the Conference, the importance of such events was noted and it was proposed to continue discussing the use of remote learning technologies in the educational process in the specialty Pharmacy in the future.
