BSMU is a participant of the International medical forum University Science. Innovations

On February 7-8 the I.P. Sechenov First Moscow Medical University hosted the International medical forum University Science. Innovations, dedicated to the Day of Russian Science. The plenary session of the Forum was attended by Irina Kupeeva, Director of the Department of medical education and personnel policy in healthcare of the Ministry of health of Russia, Andrey Svistunov, first Vice-rector of Sechenov University, and Denis Butnaru, Vice-rector for research at Sechenov University. The issues of evidence-based medicine and digital technologies as the foundation of advanced medical research, as well as the basic tools of international medical research: biomedical statistics and data management were highlighted.

On February 8, at the day of Russian Science, the ceremony of awarding the best projects on the scientific platformsRelay of University Science and Medical Spring was held with the participation of the Minister of health of the Russian Federation Mikhail Murashko and rector of Sechenov University Peter Glybochko. The winners who took the first place in the all-Russian scientific and practical event Relay of University Science received the opportunity of a two-week internship at the clinical bases of Sechenov University.

BSMU took an active part in all events of the Forum, including the exhibition of scientific and innovative achievements of medical universities. Our University was represented by the Ophthalmology department (Prof. Aznabaev B. M.), the Biological Chemistry department (Prof. Galimov Sh. N.), the Pharmacognosy department (Prof. Kudashkina N. V.).
