The Philosophy department of BSMU hosted the all-Russian scientific and practical conference “Legal, historical and social and economic aspects of healthcare activities”

On 25 October 2019, the Philosophy department of BSMU hosted the all-Russian scientific and practical conference “Legal, historical and social and economic aspects of healthcare activities”.

The purpose of the conference was to improve the legal, economic and humanitarian literacy of health professionals and other stakeholders, identify and systematize current problems in the development and improvement of the legal field of our state at the present stage and develop a strategy for solving these problems. As well as establishing scientific and working contacts between specialists and attracting talented young people to work on promising scientific projects.

Scientists and teachers of higher educational institutions of Russia and foreign countries, students, undergraduates, postgraduates and young scientists of universities of Russia and foreign countries, doctors and organizers of healthcare were invited to participate in the conference.

More than a hundred scientific papers accepted for publication in the journal "Bulletin of Bashkir State Medical University".

Professor O. M. Ivanova, Deputy Chairman of the organizing Committee of the conference, PhD, head of the Philosophy department of BSMU, addressed the participants of the conference with the welcoming speech. The following reports were presented at the plenary session:

“Legal aspects of health” by Professor Lukyanov A.V., PhD, the Philosophy department of BSMU;

“Interdisciplinary approaches and the teaching of historical-legal disciplines in non - core Universities” by Bukanova R. G., doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor of the Theory and History of State and Law department of Ufa Law Institute of MIA of Russia, Karimov R. R. – Ph.D. in Jurisprudence, police Lieutenant Colonel, head of the Theory and History of State and Law department of Ufa Law Institute of MIA of Russia;

“History of medicine as a basis for the study of medical law and philosophy” by A. U. Kinyabulatov, Ph. D., associate Professor of the Public Health and Organization department of BSMU;

“Forensic aspects of improper performance by medical workers of their professional duties” by E. R. Iskhakov, MD, Professor of the Department of Criminology of Ufa Law Institute of MIA of Russia;

“Risk factors for the health of law enforcement officers and methods of their correction” by Asanova S. R., Ph. D., associate Professor of Management in the Internal Affairs of Ufa Law Institute of MIA of Russia;

“Anti-corruption education and upbringing in the educational area of prevention of corruption offenses” by Mansurov, Z. R., Ph. D., police major, senior lecturer of the Pedagogy and Psychology in the Activity Employees of IAD department of Ufa Law Institute of MIA of Russia;

“Internet-dependent behavior of students” by Professor Yuldashev V. L., MD, head of the Psychiatry and Addictology department with the course of IAPE at BSMU.

It should be mentioned that BSMU international students also took part in the conference and showed high level of their knowledge in the field of legal and philosophical aspects of healthcare in the native countries and Russia.  Abdullah Makbul Ali made the report on the issue “Religious Tolerance in India: Problems and Achievements” and took the second place in the section “Philosophy of medicine”.

Scientific research of students in each section was evaluated by the expert jury, which determined the best performances. The winners of the contest were awarded with diplomas of the winners, the speakers by certificates of participation in the conference.

The following sections were presented and discussed at the conference:

Section 1. Current issues of modern medical law.

Section 2. The problem of teaching legal disciplines in non-core Universities.

Section 3. History of medical law, economics and philosophy of medicine.

Section 4. Digital economy and healthcare in Russia.

Section 5. Sociology of health as an innovative and promising direction of modern scientific research.

Section 6. Philosophy of medicine.

Participants, jury and guests of the conference noted the high theoretical and practical significance of the results of the research work and expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation.
