On 19 October 2019, in the framework of the Russian-Israeli Medical Forum (more http://bashgmu.ru/en/news/26891/), BSMU and Horev Medical Center (Israel) signed the agreement on cooperation.
The heads of the institutions signed the agreement: Valentin Pavlov, rector of Bashkir State Medical University, corresponding member of RAS, and Roman Barak, head of the International project "Doctors Without Borders" in Israel, chief physician of Horev Medical Center (Haifa). According to the agreement, cooperation in the field of educational, medical and pharmaceutical activities will be carried out.
The signing of the contract took place in the BSMU Clinic. That day Valentin Pavlov, rector of Bashkir State Medical University, corresponding member of RAS, conducted life-surgery a robot-assisted cystectomy with the formation of ileocondiut by Bricker. Professor Gilad Amiel, chief urologist of the Ministry of Healthcare of Israel, head of the Surgical Urology department at Horev Medical Center and RAMBASM Medical Center, Chairman of the Association of medical robotics in the surgical field, moderated the operation.
Horev Medical Center is the leading center of Israeli medicine in the North of Israel. More than 300 professors are in charge of the hospital's institutes. At the University hospital, which is equipped with the most modern equipment, has the Institute of Cardiology and Coronary Angiography, Institute of Infertility Problems, Ophthalmology Institute, Endoscopic Institute, and the Institute of Neuroradiology and many others. The center is represented by all specialties in Medicine and more than 53 clinical institutes.
