German Professor Stefan Post holds lectures at BSMU for students, residents and doctors as a part of the academic mobility program

On 20 May, Professor of the Surgery department of the Medical faculty at Mannheim University of Heidelberg (Germany) - partner University of BSMU, Stefan Post gave the lecture "Critical evaluation of robotic surgery" for students of BSMU. The Professor elaborated on the modern aspects of robotic surgery, technical features of robot-assisted operations and answered questions from students.

Valentin Pavlov, rector of the Bashkir State Medical University, corresponding member of RAS, met with a Professor from Germany and introduced the life of the University. During the meeting, the issue of further cooperation of universities in the field of Surgery was discussed.

The Professor's visit is part of the academic mobility program between BSMU and the Medical faculty of Mannheim University of Heidelberg (Germany). Professor Stefan Post will hold a number of lectures for students, residents and doctors in BSMU Clinic, Republican Oncology Center, G. G. Kuvatov Republican Clinical Hospital and City Clinical Hospital #21 and will participate in the Eurasian Congress of Urologists, which will be held on 24-25 May in Ufa.
