Bashkir State Medical University entered the ARES-2019 rating
Bashkir State Medical University entered the International ranking of higher education institutions ARES-2019 - Academic Ranking of World Universities - European Standard, and strengthened its position rising from 105th place in 2018 to 103rd in 2019. The purpose of the ranking of universities is to assess the ability of universities to provide students with the necessary knowledge, to participate in research activities, as well as to have the opportunity to communicate with future employers actively. It is noted that the rating is processed automatically, completely eliminating the involvement of the human factor.
The rating is based on the European standard of University education adopted by the European Association for quality assurance of higher education and the European register of quality of higher education approved by the European Commission.
The rating is based on the following indicators: scientific activity, international cooperation, demand for graduates, informatization, international recognition of the teaching staff, interaction with employers, membership in the European academies of Sciences, awards issued by units of the European chamber of Commerce and industry and the European Commission.
Also, this year the compilers of the rating noted that the number of participants has increased significantly. Recently, much attention has been paid to the creation of scientific and educational infrastructure, which may consist of “single-limited”, “distributed” or “virtual” for significant improvement of the quality of education and the level of scientific research, as well as international activities of the University.
