Do you know which part of the famous «La Gioconda» had been drawn by Da Vinci for 12 years? The international students who have visited the creative events held especially for them know that it is her famous smile.
The creative event «Love for Art» for BSMU international students dedicated to St. Valentine’s Day had a great success among its visitors, both students and teachers. However, not all the groups had an opportunity to visit the exhibition and draw on that day, that’s why it has been decided to hold it on a regular basis by BSMU International club «Between the Cultures».
So on 22, 26 March and 1 April the international students could visit the creative meeting. Not only they looked at the works of art made for the previous exhibition, but also created their own. The program also included the presentation devoted to some interesting facts about drawing and its benefits to academic success and brain, an informative quiz on styles and genres of art, life and work of great artists, curious stories of the world-wide known masterpieces, as well as games aimed at developing thinking, memory and attention skills. The quiz and games were in the Russian language, which helped the students both participate in the creative process and improve their Russian. The winners were awarded with sweet presents.
To sum up, the event «Love for Art» was met by the students with interest and joy once again, and the organizers are looking forward to invite new groups to teach them something new and get acquainted to the beauty of art.
