International students took part in the VIII Festival of students from Russian medical and pharmaceutical universities “Physical culture and sport are the second profession of the doctor” in Saratov

Swimming and badminton teams of the Bashkir State Medical University took part in theVIII Festival of Russian medical and pharmaceutical universities’ students “Physical culture and sport are the second profession of the doctor” in Saratov.

Competition in swimming and badminton was held from 19 till 21 March 2019 in Saratov. Over 100 athletes representing the medical institutions of the Volga Federal district attended it.

Honor of BSMU in swimming competition was defended by:

Kamila Battalova (faculty of Pediatrics);

Diana Rakhimova (faculty of General Medicine);

Niyaz Aminov (faculty of General Medicine);

Aidar Mullakhmetov (faculty of Pediatrics).

Second-year student of the faculty of Pediatrics, Kamila Battalova, became a two-time champion of the second stage at the VIII Festival of Russian medical and pharmaceutical universities’ students "Physical culture and sport are the second profession of a doctor" in Saratov in swimming competition.

In the swimming competition, a third-year student of the faculty of Pediatrics, Kamila Battalova won gold medals at the distance of 50 and 100 meters freestyle. Our sincere congratulation to the athlete and coach Abzalilov Rail, Professor of physical training, with this success!

BSMU badminton team showed a good game and performed well.
