BSMU delegation met with the leadership of N. N. Petrov Medical Scientific Research Center of Oncology in St. Petersburg

On 4 December 2018 the delegation of the Bashkir State Medical University met with the leadership of N. N. Petrov Medical Scientific Research Center of Oncology. BSMU delegation consisted of Adel Izmailov, Professor of Urology, the Deputy chief physician for Medical Work of BSMU Clinic, Yana Slesarenko, senior researcher of the laboratory of cell cultures, Timur Bikkuzin, assistant of the Ophthalmology department, and Gulnara Gaisina, assistant of the Pharmacology department. They discussed issues on cooperation in the field of Oncoimmunology. MD Irina Balueva, head of the Scientific Department of oncoimmunology, shared her experience of using anti-tumor vaccines based on dendritic cells in N. N. Petrov Medical Scientific Research Center of Oncology, had a tour of laboratories of the Center. The participants of the meeting outlined the prospects of cooperation in the field of oncoimmunology.
