Ildar Kabirov, associate Professor of the Urology department with the Course of IAPE, became the only participant from Russia at the 25th Congress of the Urologists’ Association of China

From 8 till 11 November 2018 Xiamen (China) hosted the 25th Congress of the Urologists’ Association of China. More than three thousand specialists from China and other countries attended the event. The Urologists’ Association of China organized the Congress.

During the four days of the scientific sessions at the conference, the main issues of surgical treatment and prevention of urological and oncological diseases were discussed at different sites, an exhibition of the latest equipment for the diagnosis and surgical treatment of patients with kidney, bladder and prostate diseases was organized.

As part of this event, the first international forum "One belt, one road" was held. Representatives from the United States of America, Australia, Vietnam, Myanmar, Pakistan, Laos, Uzbekistan, India, the United Arab Emirates, Nepal, Israel and England attended it.

Ildar Kabirov, associate Professor of the Urology department with the Course of IAPE of the Bashkir State Medical University, became the only representative from the Russian Federation at that event. He made the report "Identification and validation of key genes that control the progression and tumorogenesis of castration-resistant prostate cancer". During the discussion on the molecular diagnosis of cancer, Ildar Kabirov emphasized the importance of the connection of basic research and practical health care in the treatment of patients with castration-resistant prostate cancer.

The organizers of the Conference and Sun Yinghao, the Chairman of the Chinese Association of Urologists, thanked Ildar Kabirov for his active participation in the Conference and expressed a desire for further cooperation with the Bashkir State Medical University in the field of basic research. Ildar Kabirov was awarded the certificate of honorary participant of the Congress for the report presented at the Congress of the Urologists’ Association of China.
