The health resort "Glukhovskaya" hosted the Republican Scientific and Practical conference “Diagnosis and treatment of the urogenital system tuberculosis”

On 9 September 2018 students, clinical residents, postgraduates, members of the scientific urology club and phthisiologists took part in the traditional Republican Scientific and Practical Conference "Diagnosis and treatment of the urogenital system tuberculosis" at the health resort "Glukhovskaya".

The organizer of this Conference is Valentin N. Pavlov, rector of BSMU, corresponding member of RAS, head of the Urology department with the Course IAPE at BSMU.

Ildus Farkhshatov, the chief doctor at the health resort "Glukhovskaya", Honored doctor of the Russian Federation, made the welcoming speech. He told the audience about the history and prospects of the health resort. Tatyana Siraeva, Deputy Chief medical officer, honored doctor of the Republic of Bashkortostan, made the report on the current state of anti-tuberculosis service in Russia and the place of resort level in solving the socially significant problem of tuberculosis control. Professor Vitaly Galimzyanov, head of educational work at the Urology department with the Course of the IAPE, Roza Yagafarova, the leading phthisiourologist of the Republic, Professor at the chair of Phthisiopulmonology in BSMU, and Adele Izmailov, Professor at the Urology department of BSMU, made their reports at the Conference.

Professors, doctors, clinical residents presented reports on the organization of assistance to patients with urogenital tuberculosis in the Russian Federation at the sanatorium stage of treatment, on the etiopathogenetic features of urogenital tuberculosis and the main methods of its treatment, on reconstructive plastic surgery in phthisiourology, new approaches in the treatment of this disease.

After the completion of the scientific program of the conference, the organizers held the excursion for all the participants in the resort complex.
