BSMU students and teacher became winners of the athletics competition at the all-Russian day "Cross of the Nation" in Ufa

The competition was held on 15 September in "Kashkadan" park of culture and leisure at the all-Russian athletics day "Cross of the Nation – 2018". At the start there were more than 4,500 sports fans - students of educational institutions, students of professional lyceums, secondary special and higher educational institutions, employees of enterprises, organizations and institutions of the city, and all who wanted to take part in the running. BSMU was presented by students and Ilgam Ishmukhametov, athletics coach of our University.

Participants ran the distance of 1 to 12 km. According to the results of the competition, the 4^th-course student of the Faculty of Dentistry at BSMU, Margarita Nazarova, took the 3rd place. BSMU athletics coach, Ilgam Ishmukhametov, became the winner of the competition. The winners of the cross were students of the Faculty of Preventive Medicine Lilia Tukhvatullina and Zarina Tukaeva, Faculty of General Medicine, Mothu Mohan, Faculty of Pediatrics, Galey Valitov. Other representatives of the University showed good results. Winners were awarded with cups, medals, diplomas and memorable prizes.
