On 5 September, Valentin N. Pavlov, rector of BSMU, corresponding member of RAS, met with Inga Yumasheva, the Russian Federation State Duma Deputy. During the meeting they raised about the increased opportunities for cooperation between BSMU and India in the field of education and science, as previously Inga A. Yumasheva discussed at the meeting with Fyodor Razovskiy, Director of the Russian Centre of Science and Culture in New Delhi.
- Today, more than 400 students from India study at BSMU, and we are interested in expanding our communication channels and active collaboration in the scientific and educational sphere in the same volume in which we cooperate with Universities of China, Germany and the United States, - commented Valentin N. Pavlov.
During the meeting, Valentin N. Pavlov and Inga A. Yumasheva took part in the IV Annual Russian-Chinese conference of young scientists http://bashgmu.ru/en/news/16709/.
- Today, the Universities of Bashkiria are increasingly in demand among foreign students who come to us for quality education. Having passed part of the common path in science, students of Bashkiria and abroad will be able to become not only colleagues, but also ambassadors of friendship and peace between our countries in the future, - Inga A.
