BSMU starts cooperation with Abu Ali Ibn Sino Bukhara State Medical Institute

On 29 August 2018, Abu Ali Ibn Sino Bukhara State Medical Institute and the Bashkir State Medical University signed the agreement on cooperation.

Bukhara State Medical Institute was organized in October 1990 by the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Resolution of the Presidium of the regional Council of people's deputies of Bukhara region in March 1991, the Institute was named after Abu Ali Ibn Sino (Avicenna).

According to the agreement, the universities will exchange scientists, graduate students and senior students. The Universities will provide mutual aid in the improvement of pedagogical and scientific qualification of teachers and scholars, the expansion of information on methodical development, training programs, publications and presentations of research. It is planned to organize joint scientific and educational events: symposia, conferences, seminars, trainings, schools and round tables.
