Valentin N. Pavlov met with the delegation of Harbin Medical University

As part of the IV All-Russian Urologists School "Robotic surgery in urology. Reconstructive-plastic and laparoscopic urology", on 23 June 2018 Valentin N. Pavlov, rector of the Bashkir State Medical University, head of the Urology department, met with the delegation of Harbin Medical University headed by Xu Wanhai, Vice-President of IV Affiliated hospital of Harbin Medical University, Director of the Urology department.

Previously, Professor Xu Wanhai had performed an exemplary surgery to remove the kidney.

- This is my first demonstration operation outside China, - said the Professor. – It was successful due to the coordinated work of our international operating team.

Currently, Ildar Kabirov, the assistant of the Urology department, is undergoing the PhD program training in Harbin Medical University, working at identifying new biomarkers for early diagnosis of cancer, researching the effectiveness of new anti-tumor chemotherapy.

During the meeting, the participants agreed on the joint publication of the manual on urology and joint publications in the journal "Creative Surgery and Oncology".

In 2014 the Bashkir State Medical University and Harbin Medical University signed the cooperation agreement, according to which joint research on Oncology, Cardiology, Psychiatry, Neurosurgery is being carried out, Congresses of international level are being held (last week the First Russian-Chinese Congress on the Treatment of Cardiovascular Diseases was held http://bashgmu.ru/en/news/14736/ ). Students and doctors of BSMU Clinic are short-term and long-term training at Harbin Medical University.
