On 13 June, Valentin N. Pavlov, rector of the Bashkir State Medical University, corresponding member of RAS, Alexander A. Tsyglin, Vice-rector for Academic Affairs, Vitaliy V. Viktorov, Vice-rector for Therapeutic work, Irina R. Rakhmatullina, Vice-rector for Scientific and innovative work, and Naufal Sh. Zagidullin, head of the International Relations Department, met with the participants of the I Russian-Chinese Congress on Cardiovascular Diseases from China and Austria.
Harbin Medical University was represented by Professor Tian Ye, head of the Cardiology department of the First affiliated hospital, head of the Pathophysiology department at the Cardiovascular Research Key Laboratory, Weige Du, associate Professor of the Pharmacology department, Xinhua Yin and Wei Khan, Professors of the Cardiology department of the First affiliated hospital, Yue Liu, associate Professor of the Cardiology department of the First affiliated hospital, and Cao Yang, assistant of the Cardiology department of the First affiliated hospital, head of the Pathophysiology department of the Cardiovascular Research Key Laboratory.
Cooperation with the Harbin Medical University began in 2014. Currently, at the University 17 BSMU graduate students are trained. Representatives of the Harbin Medical University took active part in a number of conferences held by BSMU: the SCO and BRICS Healthcare Week (2015), the Russian Congress of Urologists (2016), the Ophthalmological Congress "Oko" (2017), the I Russian-Chinese Congress of Neurosurgeons (2017), the All-Russian Student Olympiad on Surgery with international participation (2017).
Austria is introduced by Motloch Lucas, the lecturer of Paracelsus Medical University, the Internal Diseases department of Salzburg University hospital, Jiraq P., assistant of the Internal Diseases department of Paracelsus University Clinic.
The representatives from the University spoke about the natural, historical and traditional features of the Republic of Bashkortostan, about the history and the modern appearance of BSMU and the University hospital.
The Congress will begin on 14 June and will continue for two days. More than 1000 participants, 110 speakers, including more than 20 representatives of the medical community of China, Germany, Italy and Austria are declared in the program.
