Enikeeva Kadriya, a student of the Faculty of Pharmacy at BSMU, successfully presented her project at Science Slam

On 24 May 2018, the sixth Science Slam was held on the big stage of the entertainment complex "Lights of Ufa". The 4th-year student of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Enikeeva Kadriya, represented the Bashkir State Medical University.

Science Slam is the international project where scientists talk about the main scientific ideas of modernity and own scientific research. Every Slammer has his 10 minutes to convey the idea in the witty, available and interesting way, and the audience determines the best speaker with applause.

Students of five different educational institutions of higher education of Ufa presented their projects in stand-up format, trying to explain the meaning of their scientific developments to the public in the most accessible way. Kadriya presented the innovative project dedicated to the production of tablets on a 3D printer. The development did not leave anyone indifferent and aroused great interest among the audience. Professor Farshad Hosseini Shirazi, Director of the Pharmaceutical Sciences Center of Beheshti Medical Sciences University became the honorable guest at the event (Tehran, Iran), and Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Bashkir State Medical University, doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Professor Valeriy Kataev.

Such events contribute to the popularization of Science and attract young people to the research.
