International Students visited the Opera and Ballet Theatre
In 2018, the fairy-tale written by Sergey Timofeyevich Aksakov "Scarlet Flower" celebrates its 160th anniversary. This tale is Aksakov's literary tale of the story about Beauty and the Beast. The beloved daughter asked her father-merchant to bring her a Scarlet flower, but it turned out that the most beautiful flower grew in the garden of the monster. The father plucked a flower and was forced to send his daughter to live with this beast. The girl became attached to the monster, her love dispelled the magic spell and it turned out that the monster is a handsome Prince.
In the anniversary year of the beloved fairy tale "Scarlet Flower" the international club “Between the Cultures” organized a number of events for students. International students have already visited the Museum named after S. T. Aksakov, learned about his life and the main periods of his activity - Museum named after S.T. Aksakov. At the meetings devoted to the city of Ufa, the students learned not only about the sights of the capital and its significant events, but also about the interesting facts and places associated with the famous writer S. T. Aksakov
On 4 June, the international club “Between the Cultures” and international students visited the Opera and Ballet Theatre. In honor of the anniversary of S. T. Aksakov’s fairy tale, the students watched the ballet "Scarlet Flower", which premiered not so long ago, at the end of 2017. Bright costumes of artists, rich music of the orchestra and the familiar plot of the fairy tale made the audience to forget about everything and immersed them in the fabulous world of the beauty of the ballet.
