1st June is a special day, because it is the first day of summer and the international Children's Day. A day that reminds everyone that children are the flowers of life, hope for the future, joy and happiness. The day when we have to remember once again that children, like no other, need our love and protection.
In honor of the Children's Day, the international club Between the Cultures organized and held the meeting for foreign students. The participants of the event told about the history of the holiday, and speakers Pandey Krishna, L-101A group student of the Faculty of General Medicine, and Khan Mohammad Anas Atik, L-301A group student of the Faculty of General Medicine, presented reports on the holiday, what problems should not be forgotten even at this good and bright day. The speakers reminded that we all had come from childhood and that, even having grown up, we must remember what difficulties children may face, and we should help them to learn this world.
The meeting, devoted to the Children’s Day, ended with watching the movie "The Kite Runner". The film “The Kite Runner” is a film adaptation of the debut novel by Khaled Hosseini. This is the story of two friends. The story of friendship, where everything happens - sincere love and respect for each other, envy and betrayal, repentance and belated tears of disappointment in their actions, the desire to atone for the blame and an open end, which leaves a taste of good and clean completion of this hard life story.
