The Republican scientific and practical conference of physicians, otolaryngologists, audiologists “Modern technologies in otorhinolaryngology and audiology” was held on18-19 May in Salavat, RB

On 18-19 May the Bashkir town Salavat hosted the Republican scientific and practical conference of physicians, otolaryngologists, audiologists “Modern technologies in otorhinolaryngology and audiology”. The aim of the conference was to introduce the innovative approaches in educational and scientific activities, to improve the provision of qualified medical care to the population of the Republic and to improve the professional level of otolaryngologists and audiologists. All of them meet the Plan of the main organizational measures of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Bashkortostan for 2018.

Organizers of the conference were Bashkir State Medical University and the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Bashkortostan. Elena E. Savelyeva, chief freelance otorhinolaryngologist of the Ministry of Healthcare of Bashkortostan, head of the Otorhinolaryngology department with the Course of APEI, was responsible for the conference.

The first day of the conference the participants discussed the state of the ENT-service in the Republic of Bashkortostan and Salavat in 2017. The speakers were the head of the Organization of Medical Care for Adult Population department, F. G. Zinnurova, deputy head of administration on social issues in Salavat, D. G.Mustafina, chief freelance ENT specialist, E.E. Savelyeva, head physician of City Clinical Hospital of Salavat, R. A. Khabibullin. The staff of the Department - Prof. Arefyeva N. A., Associate Professors Yanborisov T. M., Sharipova E. R., Pestova R. M., Guseva E. D. made the reports on the topical issues of diagnostics and treatment of various pathologies of ENT-organs.

The head of the Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology department, leading researcher of the Scientific and Clinical Center of Otorhinolaryngology of the Federal Medico-Biological Agency of the Russian Federation, D. P. Polyakov, and the head of the Otorhinolaryngology department at Samara State Medical University, T. Yu. Vladimirova attended the conference.

The second day of the conference the participants visited the ENT departments of the Clinical Hospital (head physician Khabibullin R. A) and Medical Center "Medservis" (head physician Movergoz S. V.) of Salavat.

More than 150 physicians, otolaryngologists, and audiologists of the Republic of Bashkortostan attended the conference.
