BSMU team took part in the VI All-Russian Student Olympiad on Epidemiology

On 18 May I. M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University hosted the VI All-Russian Student Olympiad on Epidemiology "Theoretical and Methodological Principles of General Epidemiology of Infectious and Non-Infectious Diseases: from History to Modernity". The team of Bashkir State Medical University took part in the Olympiad. The following students of the Faculty of Preventive Medicine represented our University: Latypov A. Y., Sarvartdinova G. R., Kolpakova U. A., Habutdinov G.N., Sharifullina R. D.

Sixteen teams from different Universities of the Russian Federation participated in the Olympiad. The Olympiad consisted of three stages:

Stage 1. Theoretical. Answers to questions on hospital epidemiology including historical aspects.

Stage 2. Case training. Implementation of the task, focused on the knowledge of modern methodology of epidemiology

Stage 3. Case training. Implementation of professionally oriented tasks on the theoretical foundations of epidemiology.

The participation of BSMU team resulted in the diploma of the third degree and the letter of Gratitude from the Head of the Federal service for supervision in the field of consumer rights protection and human welfare Popova A. Yu.
