BSMU team took the third team place in the final kickboxing competition in the XXVII Universiade of the Republic of Bashkortostan in 2018

The President of the sport club "Burevestnik", Maxim Stepanov, head of RB Kickboxing Federation, Konstantin Shestakov, head of the Physical Culture Department of Bashkir State Medical University, Ruslan Gainullin, Chairman of BSMU sports club, Rail Abzalilov and others participated in the ceremony of the competition.

The competition was held on 26-29 March in BSMU building №10. More than 100 athletes from all the universities of the Republic attended it. Twenty-one students defended the honor of our University.

BSMU Athletes won 14 medals including 4 gold, 3 silver and 7 bronze medals. In the end, the University team took the third place team.

First place – Bashkir State University

Second place – Ufa State Aviation Technical University

Third place – Bashkir State Medical University

Fourth place – Bashkir State Pedagogical University

Fifth place – Ufa State Petroleum Technical University

Sixth place – Academy VEGU

BSMU Kickboxers showed good technique, willpower and became winners and prizewinners of the competitions.

BSMU was chosen as the venue for such a large-scale competition not by chance. Our University has created all conditions for the development of many kinds of sport, including kickboxing. With the support of the University administration, a modern kickboxing hall with the latest training facilities was created. BSMU kickboxers take prizes at national, all-Russian and international competitions every year.
