BSMU students and staff of the Faculty of General Medicine completed the first stage of the Festival on the standards of the all-Russian sports complex "Ready for labor and defense" in ski race and shooting

On 16 and 17 March 2018, the first stage of GTO sport complex was held in the dash of BSMU building № 10 and in the Park named after Matrosov. The Dean of the Faculty of General Medicine, BSMU, Damir Valishin, the Chairman of BSMU sports club, Rail Abzalilov, the GTO judges, Ksenia Gordeeva and Andrey Kholostyakov and others, attended the opening ceremony.

Students and teachers first performed the shooting range. By the way, the shooting complex could be performed the day before, on 16 March. Then the festival continued in the Park named after Matrosov. The participants were skiing 3 km and 5 km.

Students and teachers, who have successfully completed all the complexes, will receive the appropriate results icons GTO.

BSMU is one the first universities in the country that started to implement the complex GTO. Therefore, our University is among the leaders in the number of participants and the results of the complex. GTO complex will continue in 2018.
