FOREIGN STUDENTS TOOK PART IN THE EVENT DEDICATED TO THE WORLD DAY TO FIGHT AGAINST TUBERCULOSIS

The Dean's office on work with foreign students of BSMU and Republican Center of Medical Prevention organized the action "White chamomile" in the framework of the world day against tuberculosis. World tuberculosis day, celebrated annually on 24 March, offers opportunities to raise awareness about the burden of tuberculosis worldwide and efforts to prevent and treat it. It also strengthens political and social resolve to move further towards the elimination of tuberculosis.

The event was attended by international students who repsresented such countries as India, Nigeria, Iraq. Students watched a short educational video in English on the topic "Prevention of tuberculosis". The specialists of Republican Center of Medical Prevention, Alfiya R.Sharipova, Elina N. Safina, Salakhova G. V. reported for students. The event was held using game technologies, interactive demonstration of thematic presentations and videos. Students actively participated in discussions and asked questions. The event ended with the distribution of information and methodological material, where information on tuberculosis prevention is presented in an accessible form.
