The master-class "Robot-assisted radical prostatectomy as a modern treatment for prostate cancer" was held at BSMU Clinic

On 20 January 2018, the master-class "Robot-assisted radical prostatectomy as a modern treatment for prostate cancer" was held at BSMU Clinic. E. A. Bezrukov, professor of urology, head of the Urology Clinic at I. M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University, conducted this master-class.

Thanks to the purchased equipment, surgeons of BSMU Clinic can perform unique operations. There are twenty-five surgical systems "Da Vinci" all around Russia, and BSMU Clinic is the only medical institution in the Volga Federal district, which has installed this equipment.

Establishment of the Robotic Surgery Center will take place on 23 February 2018 where the chief urologist of Russia, corresponding member of RAS D. Yu Pushkar and professor of the Urology Department at Leipzig University Clinic Jens-Uwe Stolzenburg (Germany) will participate.
